The Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) is set to have a new lounge open in August, this is another ‘The Club’ lounge and will be accessible by Priority Pass holders. Originally the lounge was set to open in February, 2019 but that has been pushed back due to delays. In October last year it was announced that the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority had approved a $1.6 million renovation of the vacant space that was left by a former lounge (formerly occupied by American Airlines and before that it was a US Airways lounge). The new lease is a five year deal for 2,892 square feet. Currently BUF has no airport lounges.
I’ll be surprised if the lounge is actually in operation by August. The following renderings were originally provided last year when the first announcement was made:
